How This Calculator Works
Transfer Time = Payload size in bits ÷ bandwidth in bits per second. This is the raw data movement time before network latency is added.
Round-Trip Time = Transfer time + network latency + estimated server processing (5ms baseline). This represents the full lifecycle of a single webhook delivery.
Throughput = Payload size ÷ round-trip time. Measures effective data delivery rate accounting for all overhead.
Webhooks per Second = (1000ms ÷ round-trip) × concurrent connections. Shows how many parallel webhook deliveries your infrastructure can sustain.
Daily Capacity = Webhooks per second × 86,400 seconds. Total event throughput over 24 hours at sustained load.
